La Maison de Beaumont is situated in the small village of Beaumont-de-Pertuis, in the heart of Luberon, the most beautiful region of Provence. The property was acquired in 2017, by Niki & Navid, an American-French couple living in New York, who fell in love with the town and its surroundings during a family vacation.
The property opened its doors to travelers in the summer of 2020, after 3 long years of renovation. It is composed of 6 apartments (2 studios and 4 one bedrooms) which are available for both short and long term rentals.
The house has a long history, dating back to medieval times. It was built over the ruins of the Castle of Beaumont in the early 18th century and initially served as the residence for the representative of the king of France. After the French Revolution it was rehabilitated and became the town’s elementary school.
